He is survived by: his wife Vernessa Steele; his daughters, Laverquista Steele and Miyosha Steele; his siblings, Mildred Topping, Gloria Vann (Michael), Cynthia Sparkman (Mack) and Gerald Steele (Lula); and his sister-in-law Shirklendoll Steele. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
