With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rudy Jones Jr. of Fort Payne, Alabama, born in Lakeland, Florida, who passed away on March 8, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel and Rudolph Jones Sr.; his wife Sybil Jones; and his son Michael Jones. He is survived by: his children, Robert Jones (Holly), Susan Spears (Steven) and Lynn Ferguson (James); his grandchildren, Alicia Meeks (Brent), Scott Spears, Danica Phillips (Jonathan), Whitley Mitchell (Zane), Emily Jones, Justin Ferguson (Jessica), Jamie Middlebrooks (Eric) and Jalisa Early (Joel); and his siblings, Anita Stiteler and Ted Jones (Judy). He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
The family will accept flowers or memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society or St Jude's.
