He is survived by: his wife Sue Jackson; his children, Nita Jackson, Darren Jackson (Julie) and T. J. Jackson (Valerie); his stepchildren, Candy Hedden (Troy), Ashley Vess (Mark), James Harrelson (Sabrina) and Brian Harrelson (Ginger); and his sister Judy McClendon (Phillip). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
