He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Fay Foy Burt; and his parents, Claude R. Burt and Daisy Bell Shellnut Burt. He is survived by: his children, Myron Burt (Connie), Jeff Burt (Crissy) and Zandra Shaver (Rusty); his grandchildren, Alan Burt, Cassie Cripps, Joshua Burt and Jon Bullock; his siblings-in-law, Jim Couch and Janice Burt; and his siblings, Roy Lee Burt, Nellie Mae Burt, Cathrine Shirley, Willie Ruth Shafer, Jeanette Burt Burt, Ellen Reynolds, Dorris Couch and Vernon Burt.
