She was predeceased by: her parents, Antone Sousa Texeira and Evangeline D'Guiar Texeira; her husband Joel W. Helms; her daughter Janice Marie Helms; and her siblings, Ernest Texeira, Mabel Depew, Alice Wolfe, Herbert Texeira and Florence Sanders.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Helms Bodine, David J. Helms (Sharron) and Nancy Ryan (Jon); her grandchildren, Jason Bodine, Kacie Beck (Kevin), Nate Bodine, Jennifer Collins (Clay), Bradley Helms, Randall Ryan (Vanessa), Valerie Matson (Ryan) and Neil Ryan; her great grandchildren, Kirsten Holderfield, Abigail Holderfield, Andrew Beck, Madilyn Collins, Emma Collins, Serena Ryan, Jake Matson and Libby Matson; her sisters, Dorothy Weddle, Midge Den Herder (Steve) and Norma Ching; and her sisters-in-law, Don Helms, Lanita Helms and Edna Ruth Helms.
