She was predeceased by: her parents, James Collins and Eva Collins; her husband Rev. S. Paul Owens, Sr.; her brothers, Wayne, Hilliard and Robert Collins (Bob); her sons, James A., S. Paul Jr. and Robert E. (Bob); and her grandchildren, Cindy Owens Slate and Tobye Owens Jones.
She is survived by: her brother J. C. Collins (Scottsboro); her children, Nancy Fields (Ray) of Attalla and Dr. Charles Owens (Patricia) of Somerville, AL; and her grandchildren, Susie Eads (Bobby), Paul Owens III (Della), Mary Beth Morris (John), Paula Knight (Joel), Robert Owens (Anna), Stephen Fields (Jennifer), Paul Fields (Ali), Amanda House (Dorsey), Jessica Wimberley (Chris), Charles Owens II (Meghan) and Harrel Owens (Heather). She is also survived by 27 great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
