Small (Gadsden, Alabama), born in Collinsville, Alabama, who passed away on February 18, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Janie Lee and Andrew Anthony Clay Small; his wife Natalie Jones Small; his children, Christopher Small (Cassandra) of Tuscaloosa, Derrick Small, Anthony Shawn Small of Collinsville, AL, Candace Sanders (Corey) of Birmingham, AL and Juanita Dawn Small of Collinsville, AL.; his siblings, Gwendolyn Johnson (William) of Greenville, SC and Marvin Small (Maggie) of Huntsville, AL.; his grandchildren, Chantaye Davis, Martika Foxworth (Josh), Markela Garcia, Corderra Dupree, Terrica Justice, Xavier Small, Jett Justice, Deklon Sanders and Saniya Sanders; his close friends, Willard D. Hart, Tommie Jones, Theodis Shaheed Rahmaan, Melton Stollenwreck, Kara Dupree Gallegos Corona and Desiree Justice; his son David Briggs; and his siblings, Delmetrice Stubbs and Robert E. Stubbs. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins.
He began his education at Gregory High School and continued it at Berea College Foundation School, Selma University and Alabama A & M College.
