She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Stewart and Annie Stewart; her sister LaRuth Dendy; and her brother-in-law Aaron Dendy. She is survived by: her husband David Garrett; her daughter Ramona Bowling (Chad) of Southside; her niece Nannette Burns; and her cousin Jason Thompson. She is also survived by extended family; and many many friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Coosa Valley Baptist Church.
