It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty J Woodie (Gadsden, Alabama), who passed away on February 8, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lurlean Davenport and William Long; and her husband Robert Boyd. She is survived by: her daughter Theresa Woodie Johnson; her stepdaughter Tammy Jackson; her siblings-in-law, Ella Hall (Bobby), Paul Boyd, Charles Boyd and Joe Boyd; her grandchildren, Andrea Fitzpatrick (David), Andreanette Johnson and James Johnson; her great grandchildren, Summer, Cemarea, Harper, Briah, Wynter, Micah, Aiyanna and Noelle; her grandchildren, Trena Lindsey and Jay Cammeron; her godchildren, Tara Boyd and Rodney Cannon of Hampton, VA.; and her sister Johnnie Austin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends.
