She was predeceased by: her husband S. J. "Jack" Kirk, Jr.; her grandson Jon Kirk; and her sisters, Lucille Cannon and Pat Smith. She is survived by: her son Sam Kirk (Rebecca); her grandchildren, Mary Kirk Atkins, Stephen Kirk (Vicki) and Paige Atkins Brown; her great grandchildren, Baylor Langdale, Cameron Brown, Connor Brown, Sellers Kirk, Bo Kirk, Katie Kirk and Molly Kirk; and her pet Lily.
The family has requested, in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation, 322 8th Avenue , 16th Floor, New York, NY 10001; or the Rozzy Foundation for Childhood Cancer; 410 Meadowlark Place; Gadsden, AL, 35903.
