He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Wood (Tyler); his parents, Marvin Wood and Mazie Thornton Liddle (Ohio); and his sister Joan Baker (Ohio). He is survived by: his sons, Dr. Gregory Wood (Crystal Childress), Timothy Wood and Jody Wood; his siblings, H. E. Wood (Gene), Robert Wood (Thelma) and Louise Gandee (Ohio); his grandchildren, Trenton Wood, Spencer Wood, Darby Sims (Hunter), Keila Wood and Hunter Wood; and his great grandchildren, Sunny Sims and Isabella Sims (Izzy).
