He was predeceased by: his parents, J. D. Morris and Annie Jo Carroll (Duncan); his siblings, F. T. Morris (Buddy), Roy Dale Morris, Gwen Morris Keifer and Elaine Morris Spurlock; and his sister-in-law Lynda Morris.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia McEwen Morris (Patti); his daughter Amy Dillard (Scott) of Ball Play; his grandchildren, Ethan Dillard of Birmingham and Ashton Dillard of Ball Play; his brothers, Joe Morris (Barbara) of Gadsden, Jerry Morris (Pam) of Atlanta and Ray Morris (Jane) of Hokes Bluff; his sisters-in-law, Marlion Morris and Barbara Morris; and his pet Ally.

Family requests no flowers.
