She was predeceased by: her parents, Colonel Robert A. and Audrey F. Woods; her former husband Travis C. Brasell, Jr.; her brother-in-law Matt Brasell; and her sister Janice "Jandy" Woods Hanks (Jandy).
She is survived by: her husband Lynn Cabaniss; her children, Doug Brasell, Garrett Brasell and Kristen Hutchinson (Brandon); her brother John Woods; her stepchildren, Paul Brasell and Ashlee Brasell; her grandchildren, Libby, Clara Hutchinson, Connor, Carter, Alexandra Brasell and Skylar Brasell Chukka; her niece Keri Triste Hanks; her great-niece Avery Parrish; her brother-in-law Sonny Cannon (Jo); her stepson Brandon Cabaniss (Denise); her stepgranddaughter Danielle Cabaniss; and her close friend Karen Hamilton.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Perry Funeral Home (1611 Clarence E Chesnut Jr Bypass, Centre, AL 35960). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Lookout Mountain Cowboy Church YOUTH, in Collinsville, Alabama, where Candy found so much joy, fellowship, and purpose.
