She was predeceased by: her parents, John Allen Baker and Robbie Lee Baker; her husband Greg Thomas; and her grandparents, Cecil Vernon and Evie Lee Vernon.
She is survived by: her siblings, Dr. Darlreen Toney D. M. D of Marietta, Georgia, John Baker of Tomball, Texas and Robert Baker of Marietta, Georgia; and her niece Kolowa Witherspoon (Derrick). She is also survived by children of her own but loved her nieces and nephews like her biological children.
