Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Dean Gidley (Gadsden, Alabama), born in Marion, Alabama, who passed away at the age of 83, on January 24, 2022. She was predeceased by: her parents, Burl Chambers and Ludie Chambers; her husband Wayne Gidley; her son-in-law Johnny Hood; and her sister Barbara Langley.
She is survived by: her daughter Deb Hooks (Barry); her grandchildren, Jonathan Hood (Megan) and Cartie Mitchell (Kevin); her great grandchildren, Holland Hood and Arlis Mitchell; and her brother J. T. "Whitey" Chambers. She is also survived by several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
