It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Emerson Corbin (Gadsden, Alabama), born in Alabama City, Alabama, who passed away on July 16, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Vernon Clifton Corbin; her parents, James T. Emerson and Mary Emerson; her stepmother Louise Emerson; her sisters, Eula Mae Holland and Virginia Mackey; and her niece Patsy Mayo.

She is survived by: her granddaughter Danielle Leigh Dunn; her children, Scott Corbin (Anita) of Talladega and Lisa Dunn (Terry) of Griffin, GA; and her grandsons, Stephen Corbin (Mackenzie) of Jacksonville, AL and David Corbin of Talladega.
