It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Jewel Palmer of Gadsden, Alabama, who passed away on July 20, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Lawless and Pearl Lawless; her husband Grady Palmer; and her sisters, Mae Grogan, Bobbie Tarwater and Elma Newell.

She is survived by: her son Rod Palmer; her brother Parnell Lawless; her parents-in-law, Coy Davis, Ava Palmer and Sharon Palmer; and her close friend Shelby Smith.
