It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy Stonecypher (Gadsden, Alabama), who passed away on December 28, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Chesley and Nettie Jones Hamilton; her husband Clarence Ray Stonecypher (Stoney); her granddaughter Mandy Toole; and her great grandchild Tristian Allynn Toole.
She is survived by: her children, Ray Stonecypher (Sandra), Mike Stonecypher (Becky), Celeste Dunnington (Jim), Abby Toole (Jeff) and Lisa Russell (Benjamin); her sister Geneva Barclay; and her sisters-in-law, Kathryn Morgan (Bobby) and Betty Hamilton. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors in accordance with established COVID protocols one hour before the service.
