It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eddie Pinson (Gadsden, Alabama), who passed away on September 24, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Scottie Pinson (Alberta); and his siblings, Lucille Rice, Mattie Lee King, Lela Kate Pinson and Lovelle Pinson.
He is survived by: his children, Sharron Nelson Smith of Gadsden, AL and Eddie Pinson Jr. of Anniston, AL; his siblings, Edna Bush of Gadsden, AL and Rev. Wallace Pinson of Glencoe, AL; and his grandchildren, Torrey Ransaw of Fulton, Smith II, Allen Pinson of Gadsden, AL, Delreka Johnson, Edriecus Elston, Marcus Pinson, Vanesha Pinson of Anniston, AL and Wesley Smith (Casey) of Houston, TX. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
