It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elbert Anthony Morris Jr. (Gadsden, Alabama), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on December 26, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Morris Sr. and Connie Birdsong. He is survived by: his son Stephen Mathis of Rome, GA.; his granddaughter Meagan Smith; and his siblings, Charlotte Cook of Anniston, AL. and Terry Prater of Colorado. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
