He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest F. Jones, Sr. and Elizabeth Jones; his son Gary Eugene Jones; and his aunt Geneva Rush. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Jones of Gadsden, AL; his children, Laura Elizabeth Kennedy (Ed) of Cleveland, Ernest F. Jones, III (Shelly) of Cleveland, Brian Christopher Jones of Pensacola, FL and Christina Faith Zentz (Bradley) of Odessa, FL; and his brothers, Gerald Jones and Gary Jones. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
