It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Will (St. George) Sattiewhite (Gadsden, Alabama), born in Opelika, Alabama, who passed away on September 18, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe George and Odessa St. George (Rowell); her siblings, Eddie, James, Alvin, Joe Morris St. George and Hattie Mae Cooper; her adoptive daughter Emma Crayton; her close friend Dorisalea Maddox; and her grandson Christopher Matthews.
She is survived by: her husband Willie Sattiewhite; her children, Willie Dewayne Sattiewhite of Atlanta, GA, Mary Jean Brown (Robert) of Gadsden, AL, Virginia Scott of Gadsden, AL, Laura Joyce Brewster (Marvel) of Gadsden, AL, Claudine Crumpler (Michael) of Gadsden, AL, Lisa Woods of Gadsden, AL and God Chosen; her adoptive daughters, Patelya and Jessica Sattiewhite; her sisters, Mattie Jones and Gertrude Battles; her adoptive children, Lisa Spencer, Pastor Edward Jones and Nathaniel Taylor; her sister-in-law Sherry Rogers of Decatur, GA; her goddaughters, Victoria Brewster and Carla Sattiewhite; her niece Mary Beverly; and her grandchildren, Juan (Pam), Tonya (Roderick), Jan, Lawrence Jr., Tiffany (Carlos), Edward, Lashaundra, Erika (Chris), Carletta Ethel (Jarvis), Alicia (Micah), Tamara Antown (Kierra), Alexander and Crystal (Cole). She is also survived by 32 Great grandchildren; 23 grandchildren, and a host of other family members and friends.
