It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gail Shannon Rogers (Gadsden, Alabama), who passed away on April 1, 2018, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Handley Rogers Sr.; and her siblings, Maurice Carberry Shannon Jr. and Jane Shannon Barron. She is survived by: her children, Joseph Handley Rogers Jr. (Judy), Shannon Rogers Beard and Nicholas Sewall Rogers (Jill). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
