He was predeceased by: his father Alvis D. Garretson. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Smith Garretson; his mother Irene Hill Garretson; his children, Katie Garretson, Julie Garretson, Erin Heim and Jason Smith (Elizabeth); his sister Debie Johnson (Dean); his niece Christy Pruett; and his nephew Steve Johnson. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, extended family and friends.
