He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Carter; his children, Dillon Carter, Michelle Tumlin (Craig) and Michael Carter; his grandchildren, Houston Tumlin and Hayden Tumlin; his sisters, Neil Ramsey (Butch), Sue (Frank) and Walker; and his brother-in-law Bill Dowdy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
