She was predeceased by: her husband Elmer Bynum; her son Larry Bynum; and her grandchildren, Kim Gray and Jeff Jester. She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Jester, Betty Ray (Fletcher), Dr. Jerry Bynum (Gala) and Pam Vernon (Larry); her grandchildren, Mandy Vice (Jeff), Amy Maise (Joey) and Dr. Carlin Tighe (Lesley); and her close friends, Richard and Hixie Lewis. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
