She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence Mashburn; her parents, Dee Buchanan and Ollie Buchanan; and her sisters, Viola Cranford and Nell Rogers.
She is survived by: her son James Mashburn; her daughter-in-law Connie Mashburn; her grandchildren, Brent Mashburn and Brandi Burt; her great grandchildren, Brayson Burt and Brynley Burt; her sister Peggy Dick; her niece Dianne Payne; and her nephew Jerry Rogers. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fairview Baptist Church building fund in memory of Irene: 5295 Fairview Road, Gadsden, AL 35904.
