He was predeceased by: his son Michael Allen Cornelius; and his grandson James Blake Cornelius. He is survived by: his brother William; his wife Barbara; his children, Sharon, Tony Cornelius (Tammy) and Kelly Townsel (Lynn); and his siblings, Eddie James (Nita) and Betty Harris. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren.
