With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Luther Cranford (Gadsden, Alabama), who passed away on December 17, 2021 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Luther Cranford to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul W. Cranford and Mary Jo Dunlavy; and his parents-in-law, Rader and Iru Turner. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Tiger" Cranford; his children, Marla Isbell (Bill) and Brandon Cranford (Pam); his granddaughters, Macy Rae Isbell and Shelby Elizabeth Cranford; his sister Brenda Frym; and his siblings-in-law, Michael Turner and Diane Turner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to Dwight Baptist Church.
