He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leslie Cooper King, Sr. and Gladys Angle King; his spouse Shirley Fadely King; his children, Cecile King Striplin (Ken), Jerry Craig King (Cindy), James Scott King (Kim) and Christie King Ray (Mike); his grandchildren, Caley King Newberry (Jonathan), Jared Craig King, Eleanor Striplin Brindle (Patrick), Sylas King, James Kennedy Striplin, James Polk King IV, Shelby King Jayne (Christopher) and Reagan Michelle King; and his sister Katherine King Gielle (Fred). He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
