She was predeceased by: her parents, Emory Carroll and Hazel Carroll; and her son Michael D. Jenkins. She is survived by: her husband Johnny M. Jenkins; her children, Sonya Teal (Jeff), John Jenkins and Debbie Jenkins; her brother Ricky Carroll (Jeni); her grandchildren, Cecilia Pike (Alex), Jeffery Lindsey (Tara), Brittney Jenkins and Cody Jenkins; her great grandchildren, Liam Pike, Jaken Lindsey, Jagger Collier, Brittlea Collier, Presley Hastings, Sailor Bryson and Cody Jenkins, Jr.; and her sister Barbara Mitchell. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In Lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials made to Etowah County Humane Society or the American Heart Association.
