He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Thomas Burgess and Wanda McDorman; and his stepson Theodore William Howard. He is survived by: his wife Beth; his children, Auston Lee Burgess (Adriane) and Shayla Crimson Burgess (Charles Mark Barclay); his grandchildren, Isabella and Michael Burgess; his sister Tonya Delynne Burgess; and his stepfather Thomas McDorman. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and friends.
Due to concerns with Covid, there will be no visitation. Out of respect for the family, it is requested that those attending the private graveside service wear masks and social distance.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Southside Athletic Foundation or the Wounded Warrior Project.
