It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Doyle Plunkett (Gadsden, Alabama), born in Boaz, Alabama, who passed away on October 31, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hosmer Plunkett and Gladys Plunkett; his brother Donald; his siblings-in-law, Jean and David Womack; and his nephew Mark Plunkett.

He is survived by: his wife Elaine McLendon Plunkett; his daughters, Monica Williams (Cole), Carrie Lance and Mayumi Oda Siu (Ronnie); his sisters, Wanda Womack and Sandra Scott; and his grandchildren, Gage, Morgan Lance, Eli, Macy, Cason Williams, Emma and Leo Siu. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.
