He is survived by: his wife Mary A. Newley; his stepson Antonio Dates of Santa Anna, CA; his grandchildren, Shabreka Heard of Gadsden, AL, Nina of Douglasville, GA and Shakirra Gaddis of Douglasville, GA; his great grandchildren, Zodia of Gadsden, AL, Ziyah of Gadsden, AL and Zaiden of Gadsden, AL; his aunt Mary Davis of Gadsden, AL; and his nephew Kasden Woody of Gadsden, AL. He is also survived by four sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
