It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Wade May of Gadsden, Alabama, who passed away on February 18, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jimmy Wade May to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his wife Shelby; his parents, James Albert and Elva May; and his siblings, Louise Noles, Elizabeth Short, Christine Cornutt, Ramona Patterson and Larry May.

He is survived by: his children, Darryl May (Christy), Southside and Gina May Knoxville (George Edlund) of Tennessee; his grandchildren, Gage Smith, Jamie Gartman and Sister Jeanie Wallace; and his friend Tammy Gregory. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Childhaven Children's Home in Cullman, Alabama.
