He is survived by: his sons, Dr. Kenneth Clay Ellis Jr. (Cathy) and Loren Jaye Ellis (Nicole); his brother George Radford Ellis (Carol); his grandchildren, Dr. Cynthia Ellis Hill (Mark), Dr. Catherine Ellis Haynie (Brant), Dr. Cantrell Ellis Lowe (Jared), Alyssa Nicole, Katlyne Grace and Colten Jaye Ellis; his nephews, Bret Radford Ellis (Kristie) and Bart Landon Ellis (Erin); his siblings-in-law, Brenda (Cornutt) and Carl Stedham; and his son Richard Hayes The. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and four great nephews.
