She was predeceased by: her parents, Artis Brown and Lora Love Thomas Edwards, Sr.; her daughter-in-law Diane Young; and her siblings, Lena Martin, Lucinda Brown, Mary Lee Edwards, Artis Edwards, Jr., Annie Lee Rodhen, John Willie Edwards, Mary Lou Maxwell, Annie Belle Russell and John Alex Edwards.
She is survived by: her children, Reginald Young, Dwight Young, Larry Young, Jefferey Young (Verlita) and Darlene Diamond (Anthony) of Gadsden, AL; her stepsons, Johnny Clark (Cora) and Kenneth Turner (Shirley); her grandchildren, Tangela Williams (Fred) of Gadsden, AL, Keri Amoussou (Koffi) of Gadsden, AL, Brittney Young of Gadsden, AL and Dwight C; and her siblings-in-law, Jimmie Lou and Raymond Haggins of Montgomery, AL. She is also survived by other relatives and many dear friends.
