He is survived by: his wife Marta Lucia Uribe Hood of Gadsden, Alabama; his children, Susie McSweeney (Matt) of Pell City, Alabama, Tad Hood of Olathe, Kansas, Brittany Hood Knill (Chuck) of Leawood, Kansas, Weston Hood of Tampa, Florida and Kris Hood of Gadsden, Alabama; his stepchildren, Alejandro Uribe (Morgan) of Wichita, Kansas, Nicolas Uribe of New York and Laura Uribe Palacio (Alfonso) of Miami, Florida.; and his grandchildren, Moriah McSweeney, Marek McSweeney, Miriam McSweeney, Jordan Ballard, Lily Knill, Rose Knill and Chip Knill.
