It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loyd Jester (Gadsden, Alabama), who passed away on November 11, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Faye Shortnacy Jester; his daughter-in-law Cullisia Ann Jester; his siblings, John Jester, Evelyn Nabors and Jean Morgan; and his parents, Marshall Jester and Bertha Jester.

He is survived by: his children, Ricky Jester (Carolyn), Randy Jester (Pam), Mike Jester (Rose) and Sandra Clontz (Bryan); his grandchildren, Jeremy Jester (Elizabeth), Jayson Jester (Ashley), Jessica Jester, Jonathan Wells, Jered Jester (Ashley), Kaylee Jester, Coty Clontz (Brandy), Jessie Clontz (Kristen), Jake Clontz (Maelyn Mickel) and Zoe Jester; and his great grandchildren, Wyatt Jester, Jackson Jester, Graysen Jester, Donovan Jester, Laken Jester, Wilder Jester, Bryn Jester, Avery Jo McDaniel, Jersie Clontz, Emily Clontz, Rylan Clontz, Talan Bennett, Laken Clontz, Caine Clontz, Bora Clontz, Caleb Jordan, Amiya Reaves, Sophie Silver and Many. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
