He was predeceased by: his son Scott D. Sims; and his parents, Mack Anderson Sims and Dorothy Sims. He is survived by: his wife Judy Ann Martin Sims; his daughters, Tamara Ashley (Rickey) and Ranae Sims (Joe); his siblings, Marcus Sims and Peggy Hogan; his grandchildren, Keeba Sims (Kenny), Amber Paine (Michael), Bill Jones (Rebecca), Kimberly Stephens (Steve), Jeremiah Ashley (Brianna) and Trevor Sims; and his great grandchildren, Kacey Watts, Lacey Stone, Camilla Paine, Elijah Paine, Bailey Gross, Coulter Jones, Maci Stephens, Waylon Ashley, Julia Ashley and Nash Ashley. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
