She was predeceased by: her husband Sylvester Leach; her parents, Tommie Russell and Evelyn Russell; and her sister Gwendolyn Russell. She is survived by: her children, Gregory Leach (Angela), Tonya Taylor (James), Amy Leach and Kenya Benjamin; her siblings, Vera Williams, Annette White, Jimmy Thompson (Ora), Tommie Russell (Angelia) and Rod Russell (LaTressa); her aunt Lucy Madden; her grandchildren, Anthony Leach, Calvin Leach, Tamela Threatt, Jose Castillo, Felipe Castillo, Deverick Timmons, Marcus Castillo and Jamal Riggins; and her close friend Robert Lee Lindsey, Sr.. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, and other relatives; many longtime devoted friends.
