She was predeceased by: her husband Fred Duke; her parents, W. L. Cothran and Evie Pitts Cothran; and her siblings, Jack Cothran, Harry Cothran, Paul Cothran and Billie Faye Cothran Pruitt of Gadsden.

She is survived by: her daughters, Jenni Duke Gunnells (Mike) of Huntsville Alabama and Julie Duke Galloway (David); and her grandchildren, Jennifer Ferree, Juliana Perryman, Emily Moss, Laurie Gunnells, Jill Dasher and Cristin Malone. She is also survived by Great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials may be made to East Gadsden Church of Christ or The Big Oak Ranch.
