She is survived by: her sister Louise Spruiell; her sibling's children, Lori McHone, Sonny Carpenter and Stephanie Lowry (Brent); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Kathryn McHone, Richard McHone, Ashton Lowry and Elsie Lowry.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alabama Baptist Children's Home, 2681 Rocky Ridge Lane, Birmingham, AL. 35216.
