She was predeceased by: her father Van Robinson; her husband Manley Willis Simmons; and her sons, John Edward Bearden Jr and Billy Joe Simmons. She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Gross (Harold), Mary and Williamson; her daughter-in-law Glenda Simmons; and her sisters, Christine Powell (Don) and Margarette Murray. She is also survived by children and 6 great- great grandchildren.
