It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Newman Veal of Gadsden, Alabama, who passed away on January 21, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Melinda Veal Martin; his son-in-law Chuck Martin; his granddaughter Savannah Martin; his parents, Newman Veal and Berthell Veal; his siblings, Judy Pruitt, Janice Brown and Johnny Veal; and his pet Zoey.
He is survived by: his pet Lady; his wife Brenda Dyer Veal; his children, Melissa Veal (De'Angelo Moore), Newman Veal (Donna Hyde) and Jerry Lee Veal (Marie); his grandchildren, Cordell Moore, Wesley Veal, Lindsey Veal, Cameron Veal and Colton Veal; his great grandchildren, Adrian Moore and Kylen Stidham; and his siblings, Jennifer Ragsdale (Larry), James Veal (Hector), Debra Brown (Ernest) and Dewayne Skipper (Lindsey). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
