He is survived by: his wife Anna Penn of Gadsden; his daughter Sabrina Cole of Gadsden; his stepdaughter Lisa Johnson (Anthony) of Texas; his daughter Natasha Pope of Florida; his granddaughters, Tatyana of Gadsden, Mardija of Gadsden, Tyhesa of Gadsden and Zahniya Cole of Gadsden; his great grandchildren, Nolan Cole-Threatt and Kolby Coleman; his sister Joyce V Curry; his sister-in-law Evelyn Kuuan of Vincent, AL; and his sibling's children, Tambra Penn of Attalla, Abdular Kuuan of Louisiana, Xavier Curry (Alexandria) of Gadsden and Abdulaun Kuuan Jr. (Airiea) of Missouri.
