It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pearl Sheppard (Gadsden, Alabama), who passed away on December 26, 2019, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mattie Carter and Howard Carter; and her siblings, Ruth Evans and Willie Carter. She is survived by: her children, Robin Williams and Roy L. Sheppard, Jr.; her husband Roy L. Sheppard, Sr.; her children, Tony Sheppard of Gadsden, AL, Christopher Sheppard (Jennifer) of Gadsden, AL, Hollie Tippins (Tyrone) of Jacksonville, FL., Cindy Grimmett (Omar) of Gadsden, AL and Latasha Hill (Walter) of Pinson, AL; her grandchildren, Jeffery Yow, Sr. (Feneshia), Jocelyn Ray (Devounte), Chenetha Lindsey, Deontavius Robinson, Kiandria Robinson, Fatima Grimmett, Aminah Grimmett, Cameron Tippins, Jaceri Grimmett, Lyniece Hill, Tyrone Tippins, Jr., Terrel Tippins, Caylee Tippins and Walter Hill, III; her great grandchildren, Jeffery Yow, Jr., Janiya Yow, Janae Yow, Quar, Damien Riddle and Tyshonna Riddle; and her friends, Lisa Carter McElrath, Willie Carter, Jr., Faye Parker, Tara Evans, Michelle Carter, James Molden, Pearl Murray, Dorothy Bukhannan, Marth Kate Sims, Sheral Boley, Cornelia Cameron, Pat Wilson, Zach Dupree, Booker T.
