It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Clayton of Gadsden, Alabama, who passed away on September 9, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Donnie Clayton; her son Donnie "Buddy" Clayton; her parents, Dowling Cooper and Vera Cooper; and her siblings, Jackie Cooper and Maxine Tumlin.
She is survived by: her children, Gina Clayton Colvard and David Clayton; her grandchildren, Stacy Tinney, Clay Colvard and Seth Clayton; and her close friend Dorothy Harris.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to College heights Baptist Church Glencoe.
