He was predeceased by: his parents, Joan S. Patterson and Cecil I. Patterson. He is survived by: his grandfather Cowan Patterson; his sister Rann Patterson (Tissie); his aunt Patricia E. Sherman; and his cousins, Jackie Clark, Susan Moss, Andrew Moss, Kristin Sherman, Shannon McCullars, Tina Watford, Rod K. Reavis and Will Cantrell.
