He is survived by: his children, Tarina Garrigan (David), Tonya Sims Fussell (Boe Jay) and Raymond "Toppie" Sims, II (Lisa); his grandchildren, Whitney Hendon, Ashland Phelon, Marc Sims, Jamison Sims, Ethan Fussell, Sam Fussell and Lydia-Grace Fussell; and his sister Peggy Hogan. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
